Everyone loves a bit of drama, right? Well not exactly, not if it plagues you. And hell, it sure does plague this small town. You practically get the stuff oozing out of the walls. People come, and people go. The permanent residents find it a little amusing to watch how others crumble under the strange circumstances... The big question is... How long will you survive?

New layout, hope everyone likes it! It could be better, but I'm in a rather lethargic mood.

We're finally open. I just need to add a few more boards and everything will be in order!

There simply was no winning with this guy. So Anouk took it in. Every word. Just stood there until he was finished explaining himself. Like he were on the defense or something... And then she let her arms drop right handed fingers wrapped around the oddly placed jewelry.
"Ya know what you're right." In truth Anouk probably knew just as much as he did about this ridiculous excuse for a town, but for agreements sake...
"You probably do know a lot more than me about this town."

And furthermore she felt no need to piss him off further. The aforementioned car ride would be enough. She could last that long without saying much, right? Well she tried. So she sugarcoated what mess was left.
"All right, all right, " She let a hand wave idlely trying to angle her body away from his, apparently direct confrontation wasn't working out for either of them. "Live where you want, say what you want." Really whatever she said he'd probably find something to counter with. Something nasty, or snarky. Something rude, or condescending. But if she didn't say anything at all...well, she had to say something.

Anouk watched him open the door. Watched him stand there, seemingly weighing his options. Watched him ask her which of the poor excuses for vehicles was hers. And then she just watched him for a second, or safeties sake before lifting a finger and pointing in the direction of her dear little jeep. "That'un." She replied sliding past him through the doorway. One of her hands snaked into the purse on her shoulder, dropping inside the necklace and retrieving her keys.

Just one car ride. Five...ten minutes tops. She could handle it. Escpecially since she'd pretty much judged him on the dot at first sight. There couldn't be too many more surprises.

Well if this girl didn't confuse him enough, it was the fact she switched something around in his words that only added to the confusion. He didn't say he knew more about the whole town. Hell, he didn't want to know the whole town. The part he was in was enough for him to handle anyway. But he just figured he knew this side of town better than she did. After all, he had never seen her on this side before, and he was constantly over here. Almost like the whole east side, west side thing. If she was from over here he definitely wasn't too aware of it, nor did he care. He doubted he'd be seeing much of her after this ride and that was perfectly fine with him. With her attitude he wasn't too sure he'd want to see her too much, even if she did have some sudden change of heart. She seemed to be a pain in his side and he'd rather get rid of her than have her stick around. But sometimes things don't work how he plans? He was hoping this would, at least.

He held the door open, more to hold it for her, but it most likely didn't look like it with the fact that he was looking around as if he were lost. See, there were some very small gentlemen like qualities. Very... very small and hard to really appreciate, but they were there. He held doors open for girls, he usually helped them out when they needed it. He didn't go all full out and open car doors for them, carry purses, so on so on. It was just simple stuff. Opening doors, paying for lunch, dinner, or whatever needed to be paid for when they went out. But he kept it at that. If he were going out with a girl it may be a little different, and he may be a littleeee more sincere, but no one can expect much. This is Doltyn Boss. Most of his mind and world revolves around himself. Having to try and shape and curve someone else in there taks some work, and some time, and most people don't have the patience to wait for that to all mold in. Especially if they already started off on bad terms in some jewelry store. That was stuff that would probably get him beat by some girl, but he wasn't too worried about that yet. And good thing he was a little stronger than he looked so if he did get attacked he could maybe hold someone down...and of course guard his jewels, since every girl seemed to aim for that area for some low down reason...

Doltyn followed her to her car, making a face at it, but preceeding none-the-less. He'd seen better, but he wasn't complaining. As long as it moved he was okay with it. If he really had a problem with it, he'd be better off going to his father's house and getting one of those cars, but he was fine, living, and getting a ride to the store. Besides, he wasn't that matierlistic. Sure, sometimes he was, but whatever. Not all the time, especially with things like cars. If anything it was just clothes, and only clothes on his body. Not so much trying to diss people on what they're wearing, but that's a different story. As they reached the car, he opened the door and slipped inside the passengers seat, looking around, and no intentions, or even memory on buckling his seatbelt. That wasn't really his thing. Or maybe safety wasn't his thing? It's not like anything he was really used to doing was safe anymore, but whatever. He was living, at least, even if that was almost all he had left. His life and his lies...

"Thanks....by the way.." he muttered, his eyes staying glued towards the outdoors and nowhere towards Anouk. It was actually starting to hit him then that he didn't really know here name, and just as he had opened his mouth and let out a short "Wha-" he shut his mouth and stopped there. He wasn't even going to worry about it. If he had to know one day, he'd figure it out. Or if she decided to tell him she would. Besides, he'd probably end up forgetting it anyway. He has never been one too good with memory. Unless it was something more important to him, like why he was really in this car right now.
